Oxjam Beeston Takeover 2016 Update

It is confirmed that Anyday Café will be playing The White Lion at 7pm on Saturday 15th October, as part of the Oxjam Beeston Takeover festival.

Both Mary and Luis are really excited about the slot, as this will be the first time that the duo have performed in over a year, due to other musical commitments.

"This is a great slot for us," said Luis. "We've been back in the rehearsal room and put together a selection that we hope will give enough variety, while showcasing what we do best, which is our smooth approach to guitar/vocal music."

But it's not just guitar/vocal - Mary and Luis have managed to mix in a bit of violin and harmonica on a couple of the songs, too.

So, if you fancy a bit of laid-back guitar/vocal, with harmonies and a bit of fiddle 'n' harp, then head on down to The White Lion this Saturday, but be sure to get your wrist-strap in advance!!

Anyday Café At Oxjam 2016

Anyday Café are confirmed as playing at Oxjam 2016 in October.

Details of the slot haven't been released yet, but organisers have confirmed that the duo will be playing at one of the many venues that form Beeston's premier music festival.

Luis and Mary haven't performed as Anyday Café for a while, as they've been heavily involved with the relaunch of local band, Anteloup. However, a quick jump back to the rehearsal room, and they're back doing what they love - wonderfully smooth acoustic guitar and vocal arrangements of original and well-known songs.

More information will be posted as it comes available, but, in the meantime, check the music player for an updated version of Because Of The Rain, which was cheekily recorded at their last practice session.

New Website

Welcome to the new Anyday Café website!

Luis and Mary have been beavering away on a number of songs for their new set-list, mixing a number of musical styles for both original and cover music. Check the Music Player to the left to hear a couple of live tracks.

The duo are planning to hit a couple of venues in Beeston in the run-up to Christmas, so keep an eye out for more details and be sure to come along for some great music in some of Beeston's nicest places.
